I loved it for years, and I even contributed updates regularly as I commuted. Now it is subscription bleedware for all the most useful features, including those social features that were so useful. Talk about turning off your longstanding user base.

This app used to be amazing. It was the best way to know what was going on with the train. Now you have to pay $1 a month to unlock anything other than the most basic functionality? I only occasionally take the train now, so it's not worth a monthly subscription. I'd be fine with a one-time $10 charge or something, given how much use I got out of this app back when I used to commute, but not looking for a monthly or even annual fee.
