Growth Leaps: Baby Development

Growth Leaps shows you, day by day, when your baby is going through a developmental leap — the phases when they cry more, sleep badly and cling to you, because their brain is reorganizing.

The first 17 months of a baby's life include 10 developmental leaps. During each one, your baby learns to perceive the world in a new way: patterns, sounds, movement, distance, sequences. Right before and during a leap, most babies get fussy and want more contact. It is exhausting — but it has a beginning, an explanation and an end.

Growth Leaps calculates all 10 leaps from your baby's birth date and shows exactly where you are today.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Install Growth Leaps and open it.
2. Enter your baby's name, birth date and, if you want, the weeks of gestation.
3. That's it. The app shows the current leap, the next one and the full calendar.

COMMON QUESTIONS
- Today is a leap day but my baby seems fine: not every baby reacts the same way, and some leaps are calmer than others.
- The dates do not match what I expected: check the birth date and the weeks of gestation in your baby's data.
- My baby is older than 17 months: the 10 leaps end around 75 weeks, so the calendar is already complete.
