Comments on Message Reader - Read Aloud for Android

★★★★☆ Luca Gentile (Cyclorbit) · Aug 28, 2024

It's a simple app. It works. Would be nice to have more features, for example to read the previous messages.

★★★★★ DeAndre Brooks · Apr 6, 2025

When it works, it works pretty good. Sometimes there is a delay by a few minutes.

★★★★★ Wintry Kiss · Aug 5, 2026

Awesome app does exactly what I need it to do I had a different app for yrs, but it didn't seem to be working with my new phone this one do I use it for Google txt msh & for Facebook messenger it works with other apps that I don't use I can hear the message coming through it reads it out loud to me, so thanks for a great app I was even happy to pay for it !!! It asked me if it had appealing features there's nothing spectacular about the way it looks it works and that's all I care about!!!!!

★☆☆☆☆ Cynthia La La Lucien · Oct 5, 2024

Did work at all reading sms messages I didn't even see an option to read them. This is too undeveloped

★★☆☆☆ marc krigel · May 15, 2026

Failure modes: (1) When first turned on the app sometimes reads all past text messages not previously read, (2) When reading a message from a group, the app first reads every member's name in that group instead of the group name, or the message author. (3) the app reads a message while the phone is being used. Wish list: (1) a black list (never read). (2) don't read URL's, (3) a way to only read if a headset is connected,
