Grudgewing: Dragon Roguelike

You are Nib, the runt of the clutch, left behind when the flight left the mountain. Everyone says Nib is too small to fly. Ten dungeons under the old roost say otherwise, and they are pitch dark and full of slimes, moths, skeletons and worse.

Drag anywhere to move. Nib attacks on its own. Your job is to dodge, dash and choose.

10 DEPTHS, 50 LEVELS
Descend through ten worlds: the Crypt, Glowroot Caves, the Drowned Deep, Frostfang Hollows, the Cinder Forge, the Inkstain Library, the Clockwork Vault, Thornwood, the Crystal Spire and the Abyss. Rooms, loot, shops and shrines change every run. Beat them all to open the Endless Depths.

BUILD SOMETHING BROKEN
Level up and pick one of three gifts. 39 gifts stack and combine: twin shots, ricochets, chain lightning, a scorch ring, orbiting fireballs, a moth friend, a phoenix rebirth. Find the combo that melts a boss in seconds.

9 WEAPONS
Ember Wand, Bone Bow, Flame Fan, Sunsword, Spark Rod, Comet Crossbow, Bomb Sling, a flaming boomerang and the Scorch Gatling.

10 BOSSES
A guardian waits at the bottom of every depth, from Mother Moth and the Brine Queen to Old Inkjaw, the Clockheart, the Prism and the Snuffer, eater of every flame. Learn their tells, then dash through.

THE DARK FIGHTS BACK
The stronger Nib grows, the harder the fight rooms push back. Now and then a level-up is a dark bargain: take a curse for a few rooms, and it lifts into a blessing you keep. Play too cleanly and a shade thief grabs one of your gifts and runs. Catch it to get the gift back with a bonus.

10 NIGHTS
A difficulty ladder for when the depths feel easy. Each Night keeps every twist before it, adds one more and pays 25% more scales. Three are open from the start; beat depth 10 on your hardest Night to open the next.

YOU ALWAYS GET STRONGER
Win or lose, every run pays scales. Spend them at the Roost on 14 permanent upgrades, unlock three more whelps (Sleet, Flick and Cobble), and open new gifts and weapons as you go deeper.

Ten-minute depths, one thumb, mid-run saves, and a Daily dungeon that is the same for everyone.

Grudgewing plays fully offline and collects no data at all. Optional in-app purchases (scales, gold for the shop, and permanent relics) help you go deeper faster; everything except relics can also be earned by playing.
