When the Great Lantern broke, night fell over the world and did not lift. You are a Wickling, a keeper of the First Flame, and the road to the place where the Lantern fell runs through region after region of the dark.

EIGHT CALLINGS
Warrior, Paladin, Rogue, Mage, Ranger, Cleric, Necromancer or Shaman. Each has its own weapons, its own boons after every boss and a permanent path that opens region by region. Keep several heroes on one account and switch between them.

A JOURNEY, ONE NIGHT AT A TIME
Every day is a card in your journal: a fight, a shrine, a night market, a stranger by the road, a trap. Fights play out by themselves; what you choose decides them. Level up and pick one of three gifts.

REAL STAKES
Ambushes, thieves, soot fog and toll bridges. Losing costs you, but every defeat hardens your Resolve for the next try.

A LONG ROAD THROUGH THE NIGHT
From the Moth Meadow to the Cinder Throne, past the Moon Gate and the Eclipse, across the world's far face where the sun went out, and up into the sky where the stars are dying. Every region has its own creatures, bosses and story, and new acts keep coming. The deeper you go, the harder it gets: cursed lands, foes that reflect your blows and bosses that change as they weaken.

GEAR THAT GROWS WITH THE NIGHT
Six rarities up to Mythic and Ancient, fusion, a weapon that grows tier by tier and awakens at its peak, talents and relics hidden at the ends of regions and deep in the night. Melt what you do not need into Ancient Sparks and forge something better. Light the star map with stardust for lasting bonuses, and fuse two maxed gifts into a powerful star fusion.

STARS, HEROIC AND NEMESES
Every chapter holds three stars: clear it, clear it without rising again, and clear it on Heroic, where every foe is stronger and carries a trait. A star chest waits every 15 stars. A boss that beats you twice remembers you and becomes your nemesis: slay it for a trophy.

PLAY TOGETHER
A weekly league against 29 keepers of your depth, where the top five rise. Raids on a world boss with squads of ten that can stay together week after week under their own name and banner. Friends, friend duels and daily gifts, and the Arena, where you climb the ranks against other keepers' heroes.

SOMETHING NEW EVERY WEEK
A weekly festival with its own tasks, rewards and a featured companion to summon. The weekend Boss Hunt, the endless Deep, the Lantern Pass, daily trials, quests and a daily reward ladder.

Flame colours and companions that follow your hero. Auras grow with the power you choose.
