The ability to set time allowance within set boundaries has been a game changer in our family to manage our screen time. Individuals can have different limits set, and they apply to all devices that person uses. Exceptions to give extra time can be made fairly easily from the home screen (not from their profile page, which isn't always intuitive to me and the reason for my lower score). The ability to also set limits on apps is useful, I ensure my kids have less YouTube than their full time.

I've used a Gryphon router and their app for years, and it makes the effort to keep your kids safe and set reasonable limits pretty easy. It works well, never had any issue with bugs. Customer support is accessible and highly competent. It's done a great job of filtering out unwanted content and works very well for managing screen time.

If I could give this app zero stars, I would. It's absolutely terrible. I don't know why Gryphon won't allow access to the router via PC. The app won't hold changes and improperly reports which devices are online. Half the time, requests time out, and I have to input the changes again. There is no documentation, and you have to depend on chat with a rep to resolve anything. The app accumulates unknown devices that are ridiculous to remove.

Terrible app, constantly gives errors. Not user-friendly. Their routers won't update and will give you weird errors.
