The Gulf State Park’s Bike Share program is a unique concept that allows visitors to borrow a bike rather than rent one or bring their own. For up to three hours, riders can use bikes free of charge. Simply download the app and scan a code at one of the many bike stations throughout the park. When you’re done riding, just return the bike to the station of your choice. They’re all conveniently located for easy use, allowing you to start and stop wherever you please! Bike stations can be found at common places like the beach pavilion entrance as well as at major trailheads throughout the park (such as Eagles Loop or Gulf Oak Ridge).

Has some glitches, but it's well worth the free bike ride. Close app enter again should work. If you can't return bike, with the app open press black lock button on right rear wheel and slide the gray lock button down till it clicks. It that doesn't end ride close app and reopen should say rental locked and returned. Happy biking 😊

Requiring to download an app, make an account, verify it, credit card information, to rent out only a SINGLE bike is ridiculous. If you have a family and not everyone has a phone, then too bad. Very disappointing.
