The app works as intended. They never said it works for zip or rar archives. It works for gz and xz archives. If you need to open a zip archive, this app is NOT for you. Great work dev, brilliant app, love how lightweight it is. 5/5.

Extracted Os image file from .xz file successfully. Other apps(Achiever, RAR) would throw errors just before completion

Can this app read a tar file or can someone tell for what it is. Someone has sent me a file called tar, and I can't open it. Please if you can give me information about it. Thank you

I'm really enjoying this app, I know what a zip and txt file is, but never heard of a gz, so just downloaded this app, it converts to txt files after opening and selecting a file type to open on. And the txt file still be there after deleting the gz, file for convenient storage. I prefer a sd memory card to convert on.

Requires "activation" to work. Probably sends your data over the internet to somewhere unknown. Super sketchy. Reply: then you are allowing full screen ads that pretend to be part of your app. Naughty, naughty. The "activation" was presented full screen, not in an ad box.

Ads on every tap. Fortunately you can dismiss them almost immediately. Unfortunately, this app does not always extract files. It eventually extracted a .gz file which produced a .tar file which it would not open even though it said it was opening it. I do not find this app useful.
