May 22, 2018 app said not on half staff status in Kansas when I know this
is the last day of the national half staff period due to Santa Fe school
that applies to all states. Looking for an app that sends automatic
notifications to my phone so I know first thing in the morning and not an
email.

Downloaded this app to try it. It doesnt have reliable information. It says our flags are not at Half Staff but they are. In fact they are at half staff in Arkansas for 3 seperate orderes right now to honor 3 different people and are set to remain at half staff until those persons are laid to rest.
