Good. Except speech The character recognition is pretty good, except for the annoying fact that it expects correct stroke order, often a problem for beginners like me. But the spoken Chinese is just wrong almost always - weird.

If u have trouble with stroke order. Get Langham cidian, where u can look up characters by radical. A great supplement to this app. Love this tho! So much! Will pay for full version soon thank u!

Very good! It works pretty well, but you need to know the exact order of strokes. Otherwise, the program fails to recognize your drawing as an image. Yet it helps to train you written ability. One more drawback is that it is impossible to draw two-part complex Chinese word. Also, translation is quite complicated when one Chinese symbol has several pronunciation.
★★☆☆☆
Recognition is terrible if you don't have the stroke order exactly right. It's quicker to just guess the pinyin in another program.

Google has better tools. This is okay, but requires strokes to be in the right order This app charges for what you can get from Google for free. Download google translator with Google's Chinese input tool (forget what it's called) and you'll have a much better experience. Old review: I downloaded this because it's easier than using a computer for characters don't know and easier than lugging around the dictionary. Unfortunately my Heinz isn't so great, so when I do the wrong stroke order I get pretty frustrated. Besides that it's great.
★★☆☆☆
Ridiculously bad After having used a dozen of different handwriting input system over the years, at least half of them intended for asian languages even on phones with processors as slow as <100Mhz I was really looking forward to trying "Heinz recognizer". I was really disappointed and annoyed by this app: It loads more than a hundred megabytes in order to achieve way less than other recognizers, most notably "Pleco Dictionary" and even fails to recognize easy chars such as "着" unless strict stroke order is followed. Moreover, it is slow and often gives very, very false guesses... Save your time and get something real such as: gpen, Hanping Pro or Pleco... P.S. Tested on Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Tab 10.1
