This app is exceptional for practice, visualizing scales and modes, and discovering the possibilities of positional playing. I use it as a visual guide when tuning harmonicas, and I use it to show my students various patterns on their harmonicas. I love it! It has a LOT of alternate tuning built in as well, which is a huge plus for me!

This app is easy to use and it’s extremely helpful. I’m fairly new to the harmonica, being able to look up scales on harp guru while playing over backing tracks is my favorite. The information on this app has saved me years of research. Now I can just practice and have fun. I highly recommend this app to any one looking to get better at playing the harmonica.

Just what I was looking for, however it seems like the natural minor and harmonic minor harp layouts may be wrong, as Harp Guru shows the harp holes are 6 and not b6 (ie as shown the harps would be Dorian and melodic minor). The scale degrees are right, but the holes don't match my harps. Otherwise, rad as hell!
