Great way to get into playing violin. Would love if in the scake section they add 2 and 3 active versions of the scales, this would be very useful. Edit 22.06.2026. New songs are aded each week, but when is the new playing style coming + 2 active scales. This app has helped alot at the start of the violin journey but unless these adjustments come your progression slows down. + a lot of the songs available are fore more advanst students then what you get from studdy provided

Horrible experience. My son is learn the violin and downloaded the app. Started the 7-day free tria with the price of 12.50 after the trial. Canceled it after 2 days of it not being what he wanted. They then charge me 162.50 the day after we canceled. Tried to get a refund and the said they do not have a free trial. DO NOT USE THEM IT IS A SCAM.

I was tuning my notes and on the G String It said that needed to go up so I pushed it up and guess what it just snaps off I'm voting this app one star and don't use it because now I have to go get my violin repaired. I advised you to not get this app it will destroy your desire playing a violin and will destroy your violin I tried playing some notes like d, but it just told me to keep d even though I was playing it psychic playing it and then when I tried a said correct, and now I'm confused

Allow for refunds if not used more than an hour. I gave it a shot but the quality is bad. My violin had to be 2 inches from my phone to be heard. Don't fall for the discount for signing up for a year. They say you can cancel anything, but they don't refund the money. They said I could skip the part about replacing the strings, but I had to sit through it because there's no way to skip it.

The video lessons were quite good and very helpful. However, the practice sections were inconsistent to say the least. It felt like 75% of the time it didn't recognize the note. I would be playing the same note twice in a row, the first time it said I played it perfectly the next time it said I got it completely wrong despite not changing anything. Also, I could not get the app to recognize up and down strokes no matter what I did. I can't recommend it with these issues.
