I'd been searching for days figuring out how I could get android auto to work on my cheap aftermarket screen. This app was so easy to set up do make sure you fix your dpi though. I had to set mine down to 137dpi to get everything to fit properly

Does not work, tried everything to get two phones to connect. Edit for my reply: I don't have discord and I tried all of that, didn't work. Tried Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth, nothing happened. it's easier to just use my backup phone to run through a playlist in my car connected to my fm transmitter.

Connect your phone through USB or Wi-Fi, or run Android Auto directly on the same device. HeadlessUnit is free, simple, and built to just work.
