It was strange at first as there was a lot of fuzz....but this app is testing hearing with background noise ...listening through the noise! Ah if only that was explained at the beginning, that would have helped!
★★★★★
App is easy and helpful, but I'd recommend taking the test twice to make sure the result is accurate. My first result was 60, and the second was 80.
★★☆☆☆
I downloaded the app to my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with Bluetooth headset and took the test twice. I was able to hear the numbers and completed the test both times. However, I did not get any results. The app just went back to the "Check your hearing" screen. I looked in the history tab, but there were no results.
★★☆☆☆
I was instructed to plug in headphones or earbuds. The problem with that is that they were already plugged in. I unplugged and plugged htem in again and the app still couldn't detec they were plugged in. For this reason I was unable to proceed.

NOT FOR AMERICAN ENGLISH! Couldn't figure out why I was getting a bad score--everything was clear. I took 2 other app- & headphone-based hearing tests & got excellent scores. It's due to the English accent! Example: With high ambient noise, her "1" and "4" are so similar @ end. Americans are used to the N in "1" being discernible but hers is completely opened mouth, round O mouth to end-no tip of tongue for "N". She doesn't use the "R" in "4" so it's like "foe", same open round O mouth at end.
