Stacks are Hedgehog's special sauce for a hassle-free investing experience. When you invest in a Stack, you own the assets directly, and we simply help manage them on your behalf in an account you control.

You can automatically rebalance weekly, monthly, never, or whenever it gets too out of whack, and even set custom targets for each asset.

Deposit and Withdrawals:
Hedgehog supports both fiat and crypto deposits or withdrawals.

Any assets that are deposited, purchased, or managed on Hedgehog belong to you (not to the company).

Your assets are never commingled, loaned, or borrowed against, and as an investment adviser registered with the SEC, Hedgehog is legally obligated to protect your assets and your financial best interest.

1. How do I know I can trust you?
We understand hesitating to trust anyone with sensitive data, because honestly that's just good sense.

We’re registered with the SEC* as an investment advisor, so we’re legally obligated to have your financial best interests at heart.

You should have control of your accounts from end to end, and that’s important. Individual custody accounts are created for each user to store assets which are never lent out

In terms of data security, all of your information is encrypted using the 256-AES standard, which is the first and only publicly accessible cipher approved by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) for top-secret information.

2. What exactly is a Roboadvisor?
A robo advisor is a financial advisor that operates automatically. We have a bunch of computer algorithms that will automatically manage your finances in an intelligent way so that you don't have to think about it.

3. Do you sell my info?
No, and we never will. Hard stop.

4. I'm new to crypto. I have no idea what to do.

5. Why do I have to go through KYC and verify my identity?
Well, you don’t. If you only want to use Hedgehog’s software tools to manage your own portfolio, you can use Hedgehog without KYC.

If you want to use our custody and rebalance systems though, we’re required to get to know you a little better and make sure that you are…well, you.

The way this works from a technical point of view is to let Hedgehog open an account with a custodian for you, so that we can perform these trades on your behalf. In order to create a custodial account, going through the KYC process is required.
