Hej: Speed Dating

Hej is speed dating that actually moves. One tap, one person, three minutes.

HOW A ROUND WORKS
Tap "Start a round". Hej looks for someone near you who is online right now. Within seconds you are in a chat with one person and a three minute timer. Talk. At any moment you can Like or Skip. If you both Like, it is a match and the chat stays open in Messages. If it is not mutual, nothing from that round is kept.

WHY THREE MINUTES
No endless swiping, no inbox full of conversations that never start. Three minutes is enough to hear how someone talks and to decide whether you want more. You get a conversation instead of a verdict on a photo.

VERIFIED PEOPLE
Everyone passes a short selfie check before their first round, so the person on the other side is the person in the photos. Hej is 18 and over only, and every profile photo is reviewed before it goes live.

AFTER A MATCH
Keep talking in Messages. Send photos, voice notes and GIFs, or start a voice or video call inside the app. Your phone number stays yours.

SAFETY
Report and block from any chat, during a round or after a match. Someone you block never turns up in your rounds again. Reports go to our moderation team. You can hide your online status, pause your account or delete it from Settings.

HEJ PLUS
Ten rounds a day are free. Hej Plus adds: no daily round limit, fair use applies. See who liked you first. Encore to meet someone again after a Skip. Boost to go first in line. Search at any distance instead of up to 150 km. Weekly, monthly and yearly plans.

COINS
Prefer to pay only when you need to? Coins buy one extra round, Extend +2 min in a round, or a Boost. Coins never expire.

WHAT YOU NEED
An Apple or Google sign in, one photo, your date of birth and location access. That is it. Distance runs from 1 to 150 km.

Hej Plus is an auto renewing subscription billed to your Google Play account. It renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Google Play. Coins are a one off purchase and are not refundable once spent.
