Could not get it to work with my Nikon D7200. Update to your question. Sorry to add - I used Wi-Fi. Enabled the D7200 Wi-Fi, connected the Android phone - Moto G6 to the D7200 and the app does not recognize the camera automatically. Could not find guide to what may be wrong or why. OK - switched to my Samsung Tab 2 and tried again. It was only after I tried to add a network camera (ip of the Nikon D7200) that it would show up as a choice along with the network camera. . Once it did - it controls the camera nicely. Now to see if focus stacking works. Focus stacking works like a charm. I was using a Nikon macro 105 mm with 36 mm Kenko extension tube, and it figured out the DOF and number of steps. Resulting images processed nicely in Affinity Photo. I upped my rating to 4 stars - just need to make the Wi-Fi connection aspect of this app a bit more intuitive and easier. I was just lucky to try the network camera route, then both showed up. Next step is using a WU-1b on my Nikon D600 with the Nikon 70-180 mm zoom macro lens that I use a lot. I just ordered the Wi-Fi adapter for it. I will update then. The only one with a working time-lapse. Had trouble with the live view, but that's not really important, for that the main canon app works. All I cared was the time lapse and that does it good, so I'm satisfied.

Been using Helicon since 2014, many programs they discontinued (and not able to download old versions either 😢 but the remote is a great app for focus stacking. Shame they discontinued filter - amazing program and superfast. This app is great for shooting time lapses and stacking but controlling your camera remotely. The Helicon team was very conscientious to help resolve issues through the years, and hopefully they will develop more products.

Not working Samsung note 9 + Nikon D850/Nikon 60 mm f2.8 micro. I've downloaded the newest version of the app that I purchased with Helicon Focus and the connection between phone and camera is super finicky most times they're not sensing each other, so I have to turn both the camera and app off and reconnect, once it does connect the app won't lock focus A nor B and won't step focus forward nor backwards with the arrows. The video feed is extremely slow reacting to commands

The guys don't know what's mean of remote. We have to connected with cable to the camera to manage. Without connect phone with cable to camera it doesn't work. Stupid developer describe as remote...
