It's entirely text-based--129,000 words, without graphics or sound effects--and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
In a contest where everyone has superpowers, your opponents can cause earthquakes and explosions, but you're an average Ani-Powered who wakes up with different animal attributes every day. Will your hawk eyes or canine claws take you far enough in the competition to satisfy the only person who can help your sister? And what happens if winning isn't enough?
As you advance, the decisions you make will transform viewers' ideas of what it means to be a hero. Will you fight for your own goals, or make sacrifices for the good of society? Contrary to many reviews, I didn't mind the "political" aspect of it at all, I even found it was refreshing to stumble upon these discussions in a game like this. As a whole, it's weaker than the original trilogy, and I did feel less involved in my character, but I think that's mostly due to the fact that we only have one book with them, compared to the first 3. The story was still quite engaging. I really did like that the MC's powers are not the overly powerful, glamorous type.

Enjoyed the hero's rise trilogy, but this story here feels like someone took my favorite IP n dragged through the mud. The story is so jam packed with politics that I I feel like Fox News should be taking notes cause yes that's how ridiculous the story is, for me this is like the new star wars trilogy, just riding off the coat tails of the OG movies n forgetting what made the OG movies so good n not filled to the brim with political corrections that the series as a whole is not worth it anymore.

This isn't a choice game. Like it just isn't. It's the author's political agenda disguised as a superhero story. And honestly it's not even a good superhero story; plus the injustice done to Jury's character is just...gross.

Absolutely the worst Choice of Games game. Badly written. The appeald to
'diversity' and political correctness are SO in your face and so blatant
and so intrusive that they actually hinder the story itself. More than half
the time instead of making choices and contemplating decisions for my
character, he was going on long rants about diversity and doing
uncharacteristic things amd changing his thoughts at random just to force
him to be on the PC side. I felt like I was being lectured to by my own
character. Let me just say that I'm a huge fan of Choice of Games and I've
read multiple books. Without all of that stuff the story itself would be a
decent read at most but with it it I almost put it down many times through.
Please Choice of Games, let us choose ourselves if we want our characters
to be over-the-top PC or not. No wants' diversity forced upon them... Don't
play this game unless you want to be lectured to about diversity.
