Description
It's America's #1 reality show for heroes! As a contestant on "The Hero Project," you'll battle villains and heroes alike with your newly discovered "Infini" powers. Will you vote to eliminate your rivals, or betray your alliance to curry favor with the celebrity judges?
"Heroes Rise: The Hero Project" is the sequel to last year's hit "Heroes Rise: The Prodigy," the epic interactive novel by Zachary Sergi, where your choices determine how the story proceeds. The game is entirely text-based--without graphics or sound effects--and driven by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
Play as male or female, gay or straight; you can even start a "showmance" with the other contestants. What will you sacrifice to become the nation's next top hero?

Comments on Heroes Rise: The Hero Project for Android
★★★★★
Zachary Sergi (the author) is a brilliant author in my opinion as he managed to do something few authors manage in these games, he made me genuinely care about the characters, making me hate almost every decision in this one because I really like almost all the characters and as I like to play heroic characters who focus more on helping people than fame (which I like to think is the person I am) I was particularly devastated by betrayals (SPOILER, I TRUSTED YOU WINTRY HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!), ultimatums and decisions in this story which I am thankful are both meaningful and are resolved in the sequel. As I said in my previous review I highly recommended this story to anyone who is even remotely interested in superheroes, amazing story's with heart-wrenching decisions, or any who aren't sure where they stand.
★★☆☆☆
I feel like some choices you make doesn't matter. The fact that we can't choose our own love interest despite making it clear multiple times already. There's also the fact that it's pretty boring, making it into a reality show really doesn't help the drama that much. Lastly I don't feel very happy to be involved with your political views, there's an entire section that doesn't even need to be there about LGBT stuff and I find them out of place. Its so boring I uninstalled it before finish it
★★☆☆☆
Do you enjoy having political opinions shoved down your throat? If so this
book is for you. The further you get in the book the more time is spent on
irrelevant political issues. If this book bothered with tact or open
metaphors then it's writing would be greatly improved. Being force-fed
someone else's political opinion leaves a bitter taste.
★★☆☆☆
Good writing as in thr first gameplay suffers same problems as the first one - there is an intelligible connection between the choice you are presented and the outcome you want maybe half the time. So playing became a question of brute forcing my way through unclear decisions. Rsther than tighten things up the designer or publisher chose to sell you a $1 in-app purchase to serve as an in-game walkthrough for unclear decisions. That takes all the fun out - need better writing around choices.
