Hidden Camera Detector: Finder

Hidden camera detector for hotels, rentals and fitting rooms. Check your stay in a few minutes with six scanners built into your phone, then see one clear risk score.

Tiny lenses hide in smoke detectors, USB chargers, alarm clocks and picture frames. You can't take a professional sweeper on every trip, but you already carry a magnetometer, a camera with a flash, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a microphone. This app turns them into a step-by-step inspection.

6 SCANNERS IN ONE APP
✓ Magnetic field: slow sweeps along walls and outlets show spikes from hidden electronics
✓ Lens finder: the flash makes optical lenses glint. Glint mode drops the exposure so reflections stand out
✓ IR illumination: with the lights off, night-vision LEDs show up as flickering purple points
✓ Bluetooth radar: lists nearby BLE devices, flags spy modules and item trackers like AirTag, SmartTag and Tile, with a warmer and colder finder
✓ Wi-Fi network: lists hotspots that cheap cameras broadcast themselves and probes your network for RTSP and ONVIF video streams
✓ Acoustic: listens for the 14 to 19 kHz whine of switching power supplies inside bugs

FULL SWEEP AND REPORT
✓ One guided sweep runs all six checks in a row
✓ Results from several sensors are combined into one risk level, and agreement between them raises it
✓ Name the place and keep every sweep in History
✓ Export a PDF report to share with the host or hotel staff

INSPECT BY HAND, TOO
✓ A checklist of 15 places where a spy cam is usually hidden
✓ Hiding spots guide for the bedroom, bathroom and office with step-by-step checks
✓ Reminders to run a scan tonight or tomorrow morning
✓ Home screen widget: one tap starts a sweep

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Every scan runs on your phone. No account and no uploads. Location access is only used to list nearby Wi-Fi networks while that scan is open.

WHO IT'S FOR
✓ Travellers checking a hotel room before unpacking
✓ Guests in short-term rentals and hostels
✓ Anyone using a fitting area, gym locker or shared office
✓ Business travellers worried about a bug at a meeting

Good to know: phone sensors can't guarantee that every device is found. Use the results together with a careful look around, and contact the property or the police if you find a device.
