Thank you for this app. This has changed my experience with my Pixel 7 when I'm outdoors in the sun. Stock max brightness is too weak, so I'm often putting my phone right next to my eyes. Now with this app I don't have to do that anymore. Improvements you could make is a smoother animation when going on and off high brightness mode. I won't be uninstalling this app anytime soon.

I'm confused, does it require root on a one plus 8? In the picture it says root not required which is why I bought it, but in the description it says it requires root. App does nothing for my uprooted OP8

Doesn't work with Xiaomi despite having root and HBM capability. Google also refuses to refund after trying it out for only like 2 mins right after buying, which is, you know, the only way to find out if it actually works.
