Start your journey as an independent carpenter managing your own jobs. From planning projects at your home office to framing walls and installing roof trusses, experience the complete process of building a structure.

Learn real carpentry workflow including planning, transporting tools, cutting timber, assembling frames and completing construction projects.

🪚 Phase 1 – Home Office

Your day starts at home.

💻 Use your computer to manage your carpentry business
📋 Review available construction jobs
🏠 Work as a self-employed carpenter contractor
📈 Choose projects based on your skill level

This phase introduces the player to job selection and project management.

🚚 Phase 2 – Tools & Site Arrival

Preparation is key before construction begins.

🚗 Choose a vehicle – Car, Ute, Van, Trailer or Truck
🧰 Manage your tool loadout and storage
🔧 Carry essential tools such as saws and nail guns
🦺 Wear PPE safety equipment before entering the site
👷 Attend toolbox meetings and site walkthroughs

Better vehicles allow you to transport more professional tools.

📐 Phase 3 – Planning & Preparation

Before building starts, planning is essential.

📋 Create a daily work strategy using blueprints
🌲 Locate and organise timber materials
🪚 Set up your cutting station with drop saws
📞 Handle job calls and business management tasks
🌧️ Manage unexpected site issues and weather

Choose your fastening tool carefully:

🔧 Air Framing Gun – powerful but needs compressor setup
🔥 Gas Nail Gun – lightweight but requires gas fuel cells
🔋 Battery Nail Gun – cordless but heavier to carry

🧱 Phase 4 – Frame Construction

Start assembling the wall structure.

📏 Lay out top and bottom plates
✏️ Mark stud and nogging positions
🪵 Assemble wall frames on the floor
🔨 Fasten timber components using nail guns

This process is repeated for every wall required in the project.
