Hoolan is a free wind and watersports app that transforms your Garmin watch into a powerful jump and GPS tracker for kitesurfing, wingfoiling, windsurfing and more - with no subscription, no extra hardware, and no phone needed on the water.

TRACK ON YOUR GARMIN WATCH Record your wingfoiling, kitesurfing and windsurfing sessions using the Hoolan watch app on your Garmin (or by using the native activities on your Garmin if your model isn’t compatible with our app).

LIVE STATS ON YOUR WATCH Accurate speed, distance and jump data in real-time during your session. Chase your personal bests and get instant feedback after every jump. Configure your recording screen to show the stats that matter to you.
ANALYSE ON YOUR PHONE Once your devices are within Bluetooth range, your data will sync from your watch to your phone via Garmin Connect within seconds! You’ll then be able to dive into your detailed stats in the Hoolan phone app.

ADVANCED WATERSPORTS STATISTICS Jumps - height, airtime, jump distance, takeoff speed, max airspeed, tack & totals. Transitions - success rate, average speed, max speed, entry & exit speed, duration, tack and stops.

We use Doppler-based GPS for highly accurate speed and distance data, refined in collaboration with GPS specialists.

Great app. I was waiting for a long time for something like this. Everything works smoothly, from installation (Fenix 8) to connection and data sharing with Garmin. Thank you! If I may suggest, In future updates I would like to see 10 sec max speed, and 5x10 best seconds average.

Great app, but a lot of inaccurate data like jibes, tacks... Do not recommend until algorithms will be calibrated well.
