This is in addition to many other safety mechanisms, including a patent-pending multifactor authentication process on pickup, GPS tracking, full real-time transparency for parents/caregivers, and more.
EASILY SEE UPCOMING RIDES AND GET CAREDRIVER DETAILS
If your school or another organization is booking transportation for your child, you can see what upcoming rides are booked through your HopSkipDrive app.
For families directly booking rides for kids, you can add single rides, repeating rides, or multi-stop rides directly in the app. You can also leave location-specific notes about pickup, like if your child needs to be signed out of school or walked into their karate class.
You’ll get information about your child’s CareDriver in advance: a photo, bio and vehicle details. This helps you know exactly who is giving your child a ride and prepare your child for their upcoming ride.

Parents and caregivers love the ability to track their child’s ride in real-time directly in the HopSkipDrive app, whether you or your child’s school booked the ride! 1. At least 5 years of caregiving experience 2. Criminal record check: Pass a comprehensive search of county, state, and national records, including the global watchlist and sex offender registries 3. Pass a fingerprint-based background check 4. Child Abuse and Neglect Scan: State-level clearance from the Department of Human Services database 5. Valid Drivers License 6. Minimum of 3 years of driving experience 7. Pass an initial motor vehicle history search as well as ongoing monitoring for new infractions 8. Age 23+ 9. Own or lease a vehicle no more than 13 years old (In some states vehicle must be no more than 10 years old) 10. Proof of registration 11. Proof of insurance consistent with state law 12. Pass an annual 19-point vehicle inspection 13. Complete a live orientation with the HopSkipDrive team 14. Adopt the HopSkipDrive Community Guidelines 15. Adopt Zero Tolerance Policies for the use of drugs or alcohol while driving, nondiscrimination, no-touching, and no-cell phone usage

So far I like having HSD picking up my grandson it's more convenient my grandson says he feels safe. As long as he's safe and comfortable I'm ok. I love that HSD have a map to, so you can see the driver location I love that HDS provide a clear photo of the drivers I love that they send the driver car information, and I really love every detail is clear and precise I was uneasy the first time because I was the one taking my grandson to and from school until I fail ill, so I thank God for HSD.

I love HopSkipDrive services, they give very detailed information, such as a picture of the driver & vehicle with the license plate number, make and model and the drivers name, and it shows a live feed of the vehicle driving on the map, it sends text messages of when and where your child is being picked up and dropped off, as well as the times, overall I feel as safe as I could putting my child in the hands of a person that works for transportation.

Stay away. Most drivers are nice, but you or the co cannot track the driver if they turn their phone off.I have gone through this with them. Also, they don't care if you have a preferred driver. The driver can contact you, but you cannot contact the driver. I had a driver text me last week that my 9yo son was not @ loc (the driver was late) and leave him there cuz he was not standing in the rain waiting. 1 hr from home. 2 years of reviews like this from me, and they have done nothing.

Horrible. Unreliable. Left my kid hanging after they started the ride without her. You pay extra so you don't have the bs. save yourself the money. Support was no help. Then they ask you how to make it right? Provide good service without dropping the ball. Never ever am I going to use this service. I do not recommend even a little

My driver contract was terminated 2 days after I reported to driver support a person who claimed to be a close associate of Hop Skip and Drive who threatened me. 3 days later I thought my interview with the safety department was going to be about the report I made, but they asked questions about physical contact with a child. I NEVER TOUCHED A CHILD! In their email they “determined that your conduct breached the Terms of Use.” and made my termination permanent. Retaliation or coincidence?
