This wa great if you entered all the info, and it worked with no phone signal. It is now broken and won't start without a connection. That is the latest version 7 Oct. I can get it working if I start it online then lose the connection, but if it is cleared from memory, not uninstalled, it needs a connection to get it going again. Useless if out of signal for a while. The 13 Oct update fixed it, but I did need to restart my phone to make it connect. 29 Oct, extra star, still OK on and off-line.

Got one caliber loaded and after that it freezes up whenever I try to purchase new caliber. Prob delete and just use Hodgson free load data. This one stinks

Utterly appalling. Downloaded, used it once and loved it. A month later I went to show my son how great it was, and it locked me out of every single function unless I created an account. Well fine - I uninstalled it. You got $1000 of ammo sales from me. Tell me why now do I need to give away all my personal details to use your ballistics app? Here's the thing, I won't give my personal info away to you when you never told me at any point I had to if I wanted to use this app. Uninstalled.

The 4Dof app is great and has proven to be highly accurate in the past for me. Unfortunately, the app now has a glitch in its calculations. When using metric inputs and outputs, and entering a shooting angle different to zero, the drop results are more than 100 times out. This can be resolved by changing the rifle inputs to imperial, but this is not ideal. Hopefully Hornady pick this up and resolve it. I will try to contact Hornady to advise them, but this is difficult as I am outside the US.
