Pretty good so far. Load data very accurate. Wish it was a bit easier to get powders like Winchester here in Australia. Winchester Australia is totally hopeless. Aussie made powders like ADI are very good though.

The Hornady ballistic calculator preforms wonderfully for long range dopes, especially with Hornady match grade ammo. Also pairs nicely with my Kestrel link weather device.

Utterly appalling. Downloaded, used it once and loved it. A month later I went to show my son how great it was, and it locked me out of every single function unless I created an account. Well fine - I uninstalled it. You got $1000 of ammo sales from me. Tell me why now do I need to give away all my personal details to use your ballistics app? Here's the thing, I won't give my personal info away to you when you never told me at any point I had to if I wanted to use this app. Uninstalled.

Refuses to allow me to log in, repeatedly uninstalled cleard data and caches still same strange message "object reference not set. Etc."

The 4Dof app is great and has proven to be highly accurate in the past for me. Unfortunately, the app now has a glitch in its calculations. When using metric inputs and outputs, and entering a shooting angle different to zero, the drop results are more than 100 times out. This can be resolved by changing the rifle inputs to imperial, but this is not ideal. Hopefully Hornady pick this up and resolve it. I will try to contact Hornady to advise them, but this is difficult as I am outside the US.

Very good app. Update: the app opens but will not let me edit any variables in 4DOF and then completely locks up, and I have to close the app. Haven't been able to use it for months now. Hornady said it was a user error. Not very helpful. Update 3/30/24. The app still doesn't work correctly. Now it won't open and just sticks on the opening logo. Update 9/22/23 app is still non-functional. Update 12/18/25 doesn't work on pixel 10 yet. Just sticks on the opening logo.
