It does exactly what I wanted it to. Simple and very effective. Thank you. The hourly chime actually goes off twice. I didn't like this at first, but it has been useful. I like the notification as well. It's not intrusive and provides a log of timers potentially missed.

I've tried many others hour chimes, but they have either been too complicated or have not worked well over time. This app could not be simpler. You select the days and then the hours on one page. There is a good selection of chime tones; however, there is no "grandfather" tone as advertised. But the grandfather clock idea is what you get and what I wanted. Chime also shows up as a text notification as well. The app is excellent and worth paying for.
