Comments on Hurry Christmas Day Countdown for Android

★★★★★ Eric Vierling · Oct 22, 2022

I've been looking for a good countdown app ever since Days was taken off the play store, and it looks like this is it! Hurry is easy to use, has lots of neat features like adding photo/gif backgrounds and having dates show weeks or months instead of days. Widgets are a bit of bare bones if you want a larger list but still work great.

★★★★☆ Shubham Aich · May 8, 2023

Everything works fine except the sticky notification. It updates the countdown at random hours(e.g. at 10am) of the day, which isn't very convenient because if I have to see the actual days left before an event at 9am I have to open the app, which makes having a sticky notification completely useless. Isn't it would be nice to have an option to set how often(e.g. every n-hours) the sticky notification updates or to set a particular time of day(e.g. at 12am) when the sticky notification updates.

★★★★☆ Stella Dixon · May 17, 2023

Great app but I would love it if the widget could show hours and minutes as well as days

★★★★★ Lesley Hutton · Jan 28, 2024

It's just the app I've been looking for days and days! Does exactly what I need

★☆☆☆☆ Sherifat Balogun · Aug 23, 2023

Notifications don't pop up, I have to go to the app for it to be reminded that it needs to send a notification why do I need a countdown app then if instead of reminding me I'm reminding it🤦🏽‍♀️

★☆☆☆☆ Rich Kraemer · Sep 7, 2025

Use this app purely for the widget and live it. However, after my last Android update, the widget keeps disappearing. It's still there, but only shows as clear with no upcoming events.

★★☆☆☆ Johnnie K · Sep 15, 2025

Last Android update has made the widget useless, so it's back to the Google calendar widget, shame that.

★★☆☆☆ Ramiryooo · May 20, 2024

Only problem I have is that the text on the widget doesn't change size when shrinking and expanding, which would have greatly improved it. I've been looking for where to adjust the text size for over an hour, and gave up. It's a little weird that there isn't a way to do so.

Crashes immediately upon opening, a flash, and it's gone :(Was working fine before. I've restarted and cleared cache, still immediately crashes
