Edit: 22/01/2019: they updated the settings. Now it can be installed on all android versions, the app works the way it should, very recommended and very handy! Edit 21/01/2019: the app is now updated to support newer android versions, but the permissions are still android 7.0 or below, so it still cannot be used or installed on newer Android versions. Initial review: it worked before, unfortunately they did not update the app to work with Android 8.0 or 9.0. (it throws an error) On android 7.0 and below, the app works perfectly, and is truly recommended.

I'm not seeing any of the niggles others are having. It seems to connect pretty fast and as I never use my phone as a hotspot normally, I'm not seeing any negative issues. Using Tuscon 2016 and a OnePlus 3

Stops at location services even though enabled. Moto android 13. Don't waste your time trying to figure it out it doesn't work. This means anyone with new or newish android phones is stuck without an update and that's an awful lot of Hyundai owners. This makes the sat nav on lots of cars a basic point and go with no other useful Info for your journey lnc. Road works and S cameras.

Almost works well. Turns the hotspot on as it should when you start the car. Unfortunately, when you leave the car it doesn't turn the Wi-Fi back on like it does if you switch manually. A data wrecker. Uninstalled!
