ibadah

Ibadah brings Malaysia's official JAKIM and international prayer times together with the Quran, hifz and daily zikir, in one calm app with no ads.

PRAYER TIMES AND AZAN
• Official JAKIM e-Solat timetables for your zone, found from your location or chosen by hand
• Azan or a quiet notification for each prayer, chosen prayer by prayer, with a choice of azan voices
• Reminders before each prayer, at the times you pick
• Monthly timetable, Hijri calendar, and a world location option when you travel
• Local weather and air quality on the prayer screen

HOME-SCREEN WIDGETS
• Next prayer, the full day's prayer strip, Hijri date and a verse of the day
• Several sizes, kept up to date even after the phone restarts

QURAN READER
• Clear Uthmani text, plus classic mushaf page layouts
• Translations in English, Malay and many other languages, downloaded as you read
• Bookmarks, notes, collections and a reading history
• Search the Quran, follow reading plans, and keep a Friday Surah al-Kahf record

RECITATION AND HIFZ
• Listen to well-known reciters, verse by verse or whole surahs, with downloads for offline listening
• Recitation keeps playing in the background, with media controls
• A hifz plan with new lessons (sabaq), recent revision (sabqi) and long-term revision (manzil)
• Record yourself and play it back to hear your progress
• Recitation checker: recite aloud and the app follows along and flags words that may have been missed or changed. It runs entirely on your phone, so your voice is never uploaded

ZIKIR AND REMINDERS
• Morning and evening adhkar with counters
• A daily zikir counter with streaks and badges
• Gentle reminders you can turn on: Dhuha, Friday Surah al-Kahf, Friday salawat, reading plans and more
• An inbox that keeps the reminders you have received

QIBLA
• A compass pointing to the Kaabah from wherever you are

NEARBY MASJIDS
• Masjids and surau near you, from solat.my, masjidnear.me, OpenStreetMap and Google
• Open directions in your maps app, or share a masjid with family and friends

THE ASSISTANT
• Type what you want, such as "Go to Al-Kahf 10" or "Zohor notification only"
• The assistant shows what it is about to do, and nothing changes until you confirm

BACKUP
• Save your bookmarks, notes, hifz progress, recordings and settings to a file
• Or back up to a hidden folder in your own Google Drive, by hand or automatically once a day

EASY TO START
• A short welcome tour and step-by-step guides show you around the first time

IN ENGLISH AND MALAY
• The whole app is available in English and Bahasa Melayu

PRIVACY
• No ads, and no advertising ID
• Your notes, bookmarks and recordings stay on your phone unless you back them up
• Anonymous usage statistics help improve the app, and you can turn them off in Settings

Prayer times come from JAKIM's e-Solat service. Ibadah is an independent app and is not affiliated with JAKIM.
