Wallet: Store your most important IDs If you’ve used ID.me before, you already have an ID.me Wallet you can start using right away. Your wallet stores your passport, passport card, driver's license, state ID, and your ID.me Legal ID, a verified digital credential accepted by the IRS, Social Security Administration, Veterans Affairs, and more.
Your ID.me Legal ID is unique. It can't be stored in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. It's the key to proving it's you across the internet, and it travels with you across every device you own. Lose your phone? Your IDs are still safe and accessible.
Important: This is secure storage, not a replacement ID. You cannot yet use stored IDs at traffic stops. Think of this as a vault for your most important documents, not a digital driver's license (yet).
Shop: Find rewards you've earned The Shop tab shows you deals based on who you are. From Veterans and Students to Teachers, First Responders, healthcare workers and more, verified communities get access to the best savings.
Tap a deal and the app takes you directly to the merchant's site. You'll complete your verification and shopping there. The app is your starting point and your guide to the rewards you've earned but might be missing.
Even if you're not part of a verified community, you still get access to hundreds of cash back offers.

Well I give it five stars cause of the ID. Wallet part is great, although I have been trying to get into my SSI account for months now, and although they identified me through everything (address, ID,Selfie, personal records, email, video, documents with SS number on it, But, BUUUUUUT they could not verify a phone number I didn't even recognize it's been so long back ago, so they couldn't let me make an account and without it, I can not change my direct deposit, or do anything else I need to do.

It seems a necessary evil to prevent other worse case scenarios. Once you get your life and the app simplified to One Device then everything works great until that device gets stolen or the screen gets trashed. Beyond the limits which can limit you if you can't get in contact with customer care or utilize your own credentials. Lose your state ID and can't log in, your lost in the sauce that's anything but awesome. Keep your wallet close if you start to adjust the service or anything related it.

Can't even sign in to the app, every time I try to go to "get started" it attempts to open Google Chrome and then crashes.

Have tried and tried to finish setting this app up. In the middle of trying to take required pictures, it flipped me out. I had the link resent to me, but the link wouldn't work, even after multiple tries. The only reason I have this app is that the IRS required it for an account.

This is trash, I can't get it to log me in... it just keeps repeating the log in steps. I can't get my benefits because this app needs a lot of work. I'm extremely upset, and it's keeping me from getting paid, therefore I can't pay my bills. Zero Stars is how pissed I am for weeks now.
