Issues with it not working with music stored on SD cards is a known security feature of Android since 5.0. The app works perfectly with anything on internal storage, so move the files to your internal storage, fix the tags, then move it back to your SD card. It's a very simple workaround. Again, this is due to changes made in Android to protect against malicious programs on an SD card, not due the developer's fault. There is no way around this without rooting your device.

. my phone shows multiple copies of one song in a third party music player but not in in google play music i need to fix this asap. when i try to fix this with the app it completes half of the songs and displays an message which says editing failed. plz.. tell me how to fix this.

I was hoping this would help fix the length settings on some mp3s that had incorrect values. It did not do this, but at least it didn't mess up anything else as far as I can tell.
