Been using it for a couple of weeks, no issues. I'm on the latest Android build and just ignored the error. So far no complaints

First at all, I work in IT, so I'm not confused by 2FA apps. Said that, setting up this authenticator was straightforward and logging in worked as expected. For about 24 hours. Today however I was met with an "account locked" notice, and I was forced to reset my password. I look forward to understanding if I will be able to log in again in a couple of days, and if this app will suffer from amnesia as other users stated. IG: get a grip and use standard 2FA tools, instead of half baking your own.

I just don't get it?! Why oh why create your own custom authenticator app? Less functionality that others and just means yet another app?! Didn't you learn anything from the last authentication app you created. Also gave me no notice you were changing your 2FA now with only mobile access how do I set it up as now the ig mobile app requires this new app to work EVEN THOUGH I'm using your previous IG Authenticator app?!

Sucks. Very bad!!! My IG account got locked. Because this app requesting serial numbers and activation code as if It is new, and although I already activated it!!
