iGurbani - A powerful Gurbani Search Engine that allows you to search the Sikh scriptures.
With the Grace of God the Akal Design team developed iGurbani with a new database from the ground up. The focus of this app is to allow the user to accurately read the shabads from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji following a revolutionary style of showing the vishraams. Instead of commas and other punctuation the vishraams are highlighed in a specific color.
PLEASE NOTE: Since the Gurmukhi is from a new source and the database has been rebuilt from the ground up there are some errors that we could not catch during development. We are going to rely on the Sangat to help us identify and correct those errors.

1. When I delete a word, the cursor automatically jumps back to the beginning of the text. Ideally, it should stay at the same position where the deletion occurred, but that's not happening. This slows down the typing/editing process. 2. Last Line Visibility Issue: The last line of the text appears too low on the screen—almost at the very bottom—making it hard to read. It seems cut off or pushed out of view, and this affects readability and overall user experience.

Everyone notices only the looks, options, and the frontend. But no one noticed the authenticity of words, there are many mistakes in the 'Bani' words. For eg:- Open Japji Sahib --> open 30th Pauli, and see the 2nd pankti it's like:- ਇਕੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਇਕੁ ਭੰਡਾਰੀ ਇਕੁ ਲਾਏ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੁ ; here the correct pankti is like:- ਇਕੁ ਲਾਏ ਦੀਬਾਣੁ ; This is not only one mistake, there are so many mistakes, and I don't it's done by mistake or intentionally, but it's my request to the developers to please have a look on that.

Database: Error and Vishraam Not Showing Issue Dear Developers, After the recent update on my Android device, the iGurbani app is showing an "Unable to open the database. Please re-download it" error on startup. Even after deleting and reinstalling multiple times, the database doesn't download properly. Furthermore, the "Vishraam" (Green/Orange pauses) option is enabled in display settings, but it does not show up in any Bani (like Anand Sahib). Please fix these bugs in the next update as soon
