I honestly do not remember how my credit score can fluctuate in a few days, and now that I am going to be purchasing a car a score 20 points lower can affect the overall price of that vehicle substantial in interest alone. Great app for keeping up with your credit score and notifications on your credit. One of the features of Credit Wise that I really like is the credit simulator. It shows your credit score and the current factors that the score was based on. Then, it gives you the options to change various credit factors like paying off or paying down a card; or getting a new card or loan; or increasing your credit limit on a card. Then hit "simulate" and it shows how the changes you made would affect your score.

I don't get the point of a credit scoring tool that is so wildly inaccurate. The score this garbage tool gives you freaks out and docks you points if you have a statement balance even though you have always paid off that account in full. My score on here is 818, drops to under 800 if I have a balance on one statement even though I paid it in full. The FICO score I get from lenders is usually 30 points or so higher than this garbage apps score. All this does is cause unnecessary anxiety.

Cannot modify notifications, illegally sending emails with no way to opt out, sending false information in said emails about credit score to get you to log into the app, can't screenshot MY OWN INFO within the app. Every time you update the app tells me my credentials have changed since my last login. No, they have NOT. More false statements/blatant lies from Capital One to cover their own ineptitude.

Punishes you for paying off debt keeps lowering your rating. Only good part was notice that someone has breached your data again. Or semi correct accounting on debts. But lowers score when your not buried under debt.
