Happy with this app, especially as I had a free voucher for a chart when I bought my copy of the East Coast Pilot published by Imran. I had a few problems initially, but they were sorted very promptly by the support team. A useful back-up for paper charts and a chart plotter. Note that these charts are raster not vector charts.

There is a lot of negativity around this app, but I view it as convenient way to navigate using fixed raster charts using a tablet. Vector charts are great until you plot a course and hit a sandbank because you didn't zoom in enough along the whole course to see it. I don't ever want to be faced with that situation. Plotting courses is straightforward, it would benefit from having an anchor alarm built in. For me, I like the security of seeing a classic raster chart on my tablet

Really good charts' app. Needs more functionality including tides to become the top electronic navigation app or even best on-board backup.

Unfortunately there is no option to store the chart downloads on my device's SD card storage. When I initially downloaded English Channel each section was just under 300Mb, and I could only squeeze West & Central onto my device. After the recent chart update each section is nearly 600Mb. This makes it impossible to download more than one of the 3 sections I'm subscribed to, making it useless for practical purposes. The charts themselves seem clear and faithful to original paper versions.

Disappointing, I purchased a couple of charts thinking that like NV Charts I would also have access to the electronic version, but that is not how it works. Looks like you need to then purchase the same electronic chart and can only view it for a year. Tried out the demo chart, but that was so limited I gave up. Really, really disappointed with the product and would encourage Imran to look at the NV Charts app and consider using the same business model.

I bought the East Coast chart download in March for twenty quid per year, which I think is reasonable as it's the same cost as the annual OS subscription. It's now June and the app is telling me that my chart subscription has now expired. 2 months use for 19.99? Rip. Imran should be ashamed of themselves.
