Indlovu: Family Memory Keeper

Not just another family tree maker. Record precious memories. Share them with loved ones. Protect family treasures. Reawaken their magic. Keep your ancestors' legacy alive.

How does Indlovu help you to record and share your precious family memories?

Step 1. Invite your loved ones to join your family profile so they can see and comment on your memories or add some photos or stories from their family archive. This will be your private space for private family conversations.

Step 2. Take photo or record audio of important family moments, such as graduations, family reunions, and memorials. Upload a picture/video/audio/text to reawaken these memories. For example, you can take a picture of an old black and white photograph. Or sing a song you loved in your childhood. Or type your favorite university joke.

Step 3. Use our prompts to help you remember more. What connects people in this photograph? What was the mood like when you sang that song? What was happening in history when this joke was popular? Our prompts will help you recall and record important details.

Step 4. Share the memory with your family. They can see and comment on it. Your heritage will inspire their memories and create a special connection between you.

“Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.” (L.M. Montgomery). Preserve your memories and be remembered forever.

Indlovu is on a mission to help everyone preserve their precious memories and share this gift with their loved ones. Understanding where you came from can help me know how special you are. It can enhance your sense of belonging, particularly for younger generations. Keeping memories alive in an app is a natural way for them to get to know your family, your history, and your life.
