The note-taking aspect of the app is great: great pen, great organizing ability, great eraser, stylus support, etc. However, I have two main problems: 1) The inability to sync between devices automatically. There's also no way to see your notes on your PC. I'm always afraid about my device getting lost. 2) Some settings get reset as soon as you go back to the library. For example, locking the zoom does not get saved. You have to lock the zoom each time you open your notes. This is still one of the best note-taking app on android. If only this had an onenote-like sync feature (and multiplatform support)...

A very useful app esp for those with Samsung note tablets. Writing is as smooth as with pen and paper and the owner is very responsive to queries. On the whole, a winner.

POSITIVE THINGS AT THE END Giving it 1 star mostly because I lost my work (because of bad interface design). No recycle bin whatsoever, which is so unfortunate with an app you're supposed to use for hours on end. Other negative things are: ___||___the UI is super-convoluted. If one doesn't look into it from the get go, it will be a very frustrating learning experience. The sad part is there are such great features hidden behind questionable UI design choices that some people will never get to. With it comes nice looking minimalism though. ___||___PDFs are imported at borderline-unusable quality. A workaround might be to import the PDF as images (it's needed to be separated at an earlier stage through an external tool). You can up the PPI in the settings, but if you go too high it gets extremely sluggish. ___||___Gestures don't always work. I found that if you strike words vertically it works better than horizontally (for deletion) but it still takes a few tries till it gets it every once in a while. Circling things is completely unreliable (most times it won't recognize that's what you're trying to do). ___||___No Google Drive integration (or any cloud storage for that matter). ___||___Getting to an actually good pen preset might take a while. At least there is a window to check out each one before exiting, but unfortunately it only lets you draw one stroke before erasing it, so it's hard to see how it will actually be. - - - - - - - - - POSITIVE STUFF - - - - - - - - It's lightweight and writing is actually fun. Everything is super-smooth. It has a plethora of good features (also because there isn't really good apps such as this on the Google Store). See the videos the developer posted in the description, it feels like it can do anything. Do note that the videos are for an older version! It does seem like many have been carried to this version as well, but some were conspicuously omitted (like the aforementioned lack of a recycle bin).___||___Very smooth, great handwriting capabilities.___||___Great active stylus support (among the very few note-taking apps that actually support it).___||___Good selection of writing tools (although it takes a while to find a good preset for some of them). ___||___Relatively cheap (only other app on the same level is Incredible, and it goes for double the price). Try the trial version first.

Lots of interesting features that are hampered by a difficult to use interface. Running on both an X2 and a Duet, it runs better on the Duet than it does on the X2. However, the performance is acceptable on both. The issues with this app that are dealbreakers: * Changing the background of an existing page seems impossible. Perhaps if there were instructions on this it might help but at this point, I cannot solve it. * Creating page templates/managing page templates is undefined, inconsistent and hard to navigate. * Lack of online syncing. Seriously, it is 2021 and this is an app targeted at the mobile space. * Lack of online backup. Syncing is better, backup is the minimum. I look forward to reading about future updates where these issues are addressed. (PS Google why are you stripping returns in reviews?!?!??)
