Not a bad app for learning only downside best if you want to learn one language at a time otherwise you have to sign in and out

There are a lot of language learning options through this service, and they all use the method popularized by Chinese Pod from the early-2000s. It's a great method. Some of the banter between teachers is kind of cringe, but otherwise the lessons are pretty good. I've used this for Cantonese, Japanese and Italian. The app needs to be updated. Lots of old UI elements and no way to favorite lessons or add them to a custom list.

Everytime I try to sign up a message comes up saying connect to Internet. I am connected though. Really frustrating as I want to use this app but cannot. So I cannot sign up and can't get to the next step. My Internet is working so it's a problem with your app. Thanks for responding, I've tried that 3 times. It gets up to the part where I choose easy number 1 and press ok. then it says check Internet connection. Still no joy. it's linked to Thai Language.

I used it to try the Japanese lessons only, I got a paid subscription for a month. There's a lot of content only for the most expensive subscription, so I spent a lot of time searching for things I could actually access, to the point I gave up some days. The website was saying we could get free stuff like a kanji ebook but the link from the email after purchase never worked. It was a very disappointing experience...

The free version of this app is not very useful, you cannot make your own personal word bank etc. you can access their videos on YouTube, so no need for the app. Money grabbing. Edit: 2026 all their courses are paid. 8ish pounds for a month. Most playlists, there are only three available and the rest you have to pay for. Disappointing.
