Scanned food that is known for containing insect, and it claims no insects found. This app is worthless.

It is a fictional app. I scanned a product which states that it has cochineal bugs as coloring and the app shows: no bugs! If the developers didn't bother to include cochineal in the list of insects, then it's a rubbish app. I recommend Yuka app which tells you about insects including cochineal and about many other things and also can recommend an alternative product.

I tested this app on a bag of bird food (suet pellets with meal worms) app said "in insects found"

Scanned 10 articles. No insects. Could be luck. But I doubt it. App is published via Google. So not the most trustworthy site imo. I am going to test it with known products tomorrow. If it registered those. I'll change my review ! If not. One star is even too much

It scanned everything including the bar code with same result...no bugs.... trying to get accurate reading of the bar code was impossible, scan bar just kept saying no bugs even when it wasn't scanning....
