If you are running the newest OS 6.0+ Marshmallow then you will need to enable storage permissions in the settings. The application will not work if the permission is not set. You can set it from inside you phone's settings. From the settings go to Applications and locate and tap on "IR Remote". From the here locate and tap the permissions option. Now move the switch to allow storage access. Storage access is used to store the remotes and to access image for backgrounds.

Full Network Access: This is required for internet access. The IRUDB™ database is accessed via internet.
