Comments on Irish Sailing SafeTrx for Android

★★★★★ Great Start! I like it. Some things to consider. 1. Store the credentials in settings, one should not need to log in every time. 2. Allow for multiple Waypoints. 3. I have an ISA login, and it would not allow me to use the e-mail associated with my ISA account. As I said a great start, well done.

★★★★★ Almost perfect. Except if it loses cell phone coverage, it logs you as jumping back to the start point until it gains cell phone signal again. Not sure if the tracking is done on the phone or the SafeTrx server, but this is an issue that needs addressing

★★★★★ Assumed you can use same password on initial screen and 2nd (registration) screen? Tells me username already exists! CAn you add some detailed information on how to create the user account and also how to delete an existing user account? Brilliant idea. UPDATE working very well and the tracking mode is handy also! Great idea, has matured and is very impressive now.

★★☆☆☆ Crashed during registration, but has great potential! Process of registration long but worthwhile. Crashed when trying to upload photo, re-registered, and it worked ok without photo. Useful app which maybe needs time to mature. Users should give feedback, and I'm sure it will quickly improve. *Update* Updated to latest version but now crashes every time immediately after login. Reinstalled and re-installed but no fix.

★★☆☆☆ Constantly crashing during vehicle registration Proving impossible to use the app due to persistent crashing during the vehicle registration process. Needs to be rectified before the app is usable.

★★☆☆☆ If left on overnight, it drains the battery due to constant upload of location while yawing. And when the phone shuts down, it calls your emergency contacts. Aaarrgh! The concept was good, but the execution left much to be desired. Also, very cumbersome to sign on. Is a new version coming that will fix these issues?
