iSMS2droid can restore all your SMS texts and iMessages from an Apple iPhone backup into Android's messaging app - FOR FREE!
Please be aware that this app only works with unencrypted SMS databases. If you have encryption enabled for your backups, disabled it and create a new backup - you can of course enable encryption again after the import.
--- Instructions ---
Step 1) Check https://isms2droid.com for detailed instructions on how to get your iPhone SMS database, then copy it via USB cable/Dropbox/etc. onto your Android phone.
Step 2) Start iSMS2droid and tap on "Import Messages" to select your iPhone SMS database file.
Step 3) Choose if you want to import all messages, or select specific conversations by contact.
Step 4) Rate or review this app on Google Play if you are happy with it.

All other methods failed. This is the only app that was able to read an unencrypted iPhone backup and restore my messages to a new Android phone. Follow instructions exactly and you will have success.

Excellent app, worked great the first time out, although you do have to use a little common sense to fill in the blanks along the way due to a background color issue, at least on my new Pixel 8 Pro that is. A Google restore took care of my old android messages but that still left the ones on the iPhone. In just a few clicks this app imported my iMessages and combined them with the Google text messages that were already on my new phone from the Google restore. Fix the display issues though please

Not user-friendly. Didn't understand anything so removing it. Instructions are difficult to understand. So using the app doesn't exist. People who use only basic phone and don't know how things work. Can't use this app. So yes it's my mistake to download this app and give it a try. Enjoy your own egos and attitudes with a negative rating. Who the hell are you yo rate me? Be in your limits. I tried your app, it was complex and hence the rating. So stop ranting and throwing poison.
