ISSB Test Guide

ISSB Test Guide is a comprehensive mobile application designed to provide complete guidance and preparation support for all Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) tests from arrival day to end day. This app is officially prepared by Dr. Sarfraz Ahmad, Shaheen Forces Academy — a private academy dedicated to helping candidates succeed in their defence career journey.
Complete Day-by-Day Coverage:
Arrival Day: Reporting procedures, document verification, accommodation details, orientation briefing, and first impression tips.
Day 1 — Screening Day: Intelligence tests (verbal and non-verbal), academic tests (English, Mathematics, General Knowledge), and initial screening process.
Day 2 to Day 4 — Three Main Domains:
Psychological Domain (Psych): Picture Story Writing (observation, positive hero creation, story structure, time management), Word Association Test (WAT — positive word bank, speed practice, personality reflection), Sentence Completion Test (positive personality display, consistency under pressure, sample positive sentences included), Pointer Story Writing (concise bullet-point narratives, clarity of thought), and Self-Description (honest self-assessment, strength awareness).
Deputy President Domain (Interview): Personal Information (honest history, educational background, family details, achievements), Self-Assessment (strengths and weaknesses, goal alignment with armed forces values), Current Affairs (national and international updates, defence strategy, foreign policy), Communication Skills (clear speech, confident body language, active listening), Dress Code and Etiquette (formal dress, proper manners, respectful addressing), and mostly asked interview questions with expert answers.
Group Testing Officer Domain (GTO): Group Discussion (topic understanding, confident speaking, logical reasoning, leadership demonstration), Group Planning Exercise (scenario analysis, priority setting, practical planning, clear presentation), Command Task (briefing understanding, team selection, clear instructions, time management), Half Group Task (cooperative problem-solving, resource sharing, rule following), Progressive Group Task (route planning, task distribution, teamwork, resourcefulness), Individual Obstacles (Commando Jump, Double Platform Jump, Zig-Zag Balance, Burma Bridge, Tarzan Swing, Monkey Bridge, Double Ditch, Right-Angle Descent, Hanging Tyres, Parallel Ropes — with fitness tips and completion techniques).
End Day: Final board conference, result announcement, and departure procedures.
