★★★★★ The story was amazing and so immersive. Loved it. And the choices make such a difference in the story. Totally worth the money. I could literally play this game a dozen times and not get bored.

★★★★★ Great plot and solid writing. I was really impressed with this game. I've been a big Choice of Games fan for a long time and I found that I couldn't stop playing this one. The characters are fleshed out well, and it reads like an interactive thriller. The plot is tense and action-packed, but my absolute favorite thing is how customizable the game is. If you want to play a straight-laced professional you can do so, or you can choose to be a bloodthirsty psychopath. And the choices really matter to the story. There are a lot of achievements and endings and how you play determines how what ending you get. I've played through the game several times now, and I always find something new. It's great because you can choose how to execute the targets in a way that fits with your style. If you like hand-to-hand combat, there are ways to get up close and personal. If you're a more sniper type hitman then you have options for that. The kills are really well-thought-out and imaginative. There was definitely a lot of thought put into this game and it shows. I would highly recommend it!

★★☆☆☆ A weak entry. Very bad characterization. You can sort of choose what you look like, but it's never so much as remarked about. Whatever personality you try to build for your character is annoyingly subverted by how the writer wants your character to think and act. The people you work with are allegedly your friends, and you're really supposed to care about what happens to them but since so few of the characters actually do or say anything important they all just come off as incredibly generic and boring. The story was elementary. Felt like I was reading a freshman's fanfic. May or may not have been the author's sincere attempt at writing a story but bless their heart it's awful. Avoid this title. Save your five dollars for something better.

★★☆☆☆ Very sloppy writing and plot I'm sorry. Usually I like the CoG games, but this one is among those I'm going to try to forget. The writing was messy and unoriginal and incredibly clichéd and the characters are a jumble of stereotypes, but what really turned me off was that everything was so unbelievable. This is a group of elite trained assassins, yet they read like a group of pals hanging around and talking shop. Not exactly very professional. And no way is assassination as easy as this game makes it seem.

Travel the world, meet interesting new people, and assassinate them for money!

"It's Killing Time" is an ultra-violent 140,000-word interactive novel by Eric Bonholtzer, where your choices control the story. It's entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

Earn respect, reputation, and wealth as a hired assassin. You'll be dressed to kill, driving an exotic car with outlandish weapons in the trunk.

But in the glamorous, fast-paced world of murder-for-hire, you can never know who to trust and who's gunning to take you out. Who will betray you? Whom will you betray?

Will you be a spiritual hitman or hitwoman, a ruthless assassin, a total psychopath, or a righteous killer? The choice is yours.
