Comments on JAM Card for Android

★★★★★ A great resource for those with hidden disabilities who may need to communicate that they need a minute non-verbally.

★★★★★ Good app, does me what I need it to, could do with a few more options for other metal problems (Not that it's bad just can't think of the correct word), but still recommend if you don't want to carry a physical card on you, like me.

★★★★★ Brilliant idea good to see it has different gender options for people to choose from as a LGBTQ+ Advocate I'm glad to see all the different options.

★★★★★ It is great to have a tool that speaks for you when you can't. It takes the stress out of the moment.

★★☆☆☆ I wonder if the app developers are reading the reviews or even updating this app. So many people have stated that they would prefer it to say 'I am autistic' instead of 'I have autism/Asperger' and these reviews go back months to a couple of years. It would be better if we could type in what we wanted it to say tbh. And others have also mentioned the gender issue, only male and female options is very outdated. It does also seem weird that you have to sign up for an account to use this app, when it's very basic.

★★☆☆☆ A good concept however could use some improvement. As others have said, it would be appreciated to add more gender options as there are a lot of autistic people who are transgender/nonbinary. Also, would be nice if there were more conditions you could add. Finally, most autistic people prefer identity first language so that would be a better description than 'has autism'.

★★☆☆☆ Thanks for created an app I know is simple starter but as few others have said it bee great to have more choice on gender for lgbt+ and multiple catogery selection to choose from. For example, I have a learning disability and a mental health condition, so it is nice to click on 2 catogerys and display on the app. I have a Learning disability I have a Learning difficulty I have a Physical disability I am on the Autism spectrum I have neurological condition I have mental health condition

Description by NOW Group Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.

JAM (Just a minute) enables people with learning difficulties to discreetly let someone know of their needs without verbalising it. JAM can be invaluable during personal interactions as it allows those with a condition to get their message across simply and effectively just by showing their phone screen. It also offers other supporting features which allow users to stay informed and lets us know us how users interact with the card in the community.
