Excellent app for learning kana. I like how this app shows proper stroke order for each kana. I use another app, Kana Dojo, in addition to this one because the other app has a quiz feature. This app is great because it shows stroke order, allows you to practice each kana, and orally discrete the proper sound of the kana.

Intrusive full screen ads within seconds of evaluating the app. Is there an option to pay to get rid of them?

The app gave me wrong information. It thinks the katakana for zu is zo.

It's ok for studying but kind of boring. Tests aren't customizable and don't end so if you want to practice a few specific characters you can't and the writing doesn't let you practice by tracing the characters. There are 4 areas to choose from, 2 of them and one of the tests are the same thing, 1 is just a chart, and then the test part which is just 50+ characters in random order to identify or write.
