I am enjoying the drawing feature of this immensely!! I am actually learning proper strokes and writing in legible hiragana and katakana!! And it's really helping me memorize the basic "alphabet" and proper pronunciation! Well done, easy to use, simple design makes it easy to focus and study one thing at a time. Only wish there was a way to play with sentence strings and learn the many different meanings of each combination. Highly recommend overall!

It's a really cool app. There's a trace to write option that helps you practice and the app also reads the letter out for u. It's fairly simple and also not much on the app size and stuff. Overall it's a really helpful app

It's ok for studying but kind of boring. Tests aren't customizable and don't end so if you want to practice a few specific characters you can't and the writing doesn't let you practice by tracing the characters. There are 4 areas to choose from, 2 of them and one of the tests are the same thing, 1 is just a chart, and then the test part which is just 50+ characters in random order to identify or write.
