Jarband

Jarband transforms the daily rhythm of small pet care into a charming, shelf-top ritual that feels as natural as filling out a paper card at your favorite pet supply store. Every habitat cleaning you complete is saved as a digital care card tucked into a clear glass jar, complete with a colored rubber band that instantly tells you what kind of care was performed—green for a full cage, yellow for bedding, blue for water, and orange for a quick spot clean. Adding a new cleaning takes only seconds: just tap the Add tab, enter your pet’s name, choose the cleaning type from the dropdown, pick the date, and leave a short note if you like. Your entire cleaning history lives in the History tab, where you can scroll through a chronological list of every jar-labeled care card, search by pet name or cleaning type, and edit or remove any entry with a tap. The Dashboard welcomes you with two ceramic bowls resting on the warm wooden shelf, showing how many cleanings you completed this week and how many different pets received care today. A large, friendly “New Cleaning” button sits right there for instant logging, and a recent activity feed lets you glance at the last three cleanings without leaving the main screen. The Pets tab does the organizing for you by collecting every unique pet name from your log and displaying the total number of cleanings along with the date they were last cared for, so you always know who is due for a refresh. All of your data stays securely on your device with no accounts, no cloud syncing, and no internet connection required, giving you complete privacy and the freedom to use Jarband anywhere. The interface feels tactile and comforting, with content scrolling inside the pages of a spiral-bound logbook set upon a softly lit wooden shelf, accompanied by the scent-free peace of mind that nothing falls through the cracks. Navigation is equally delightful: the bottom tab bar is a row of four shallow metal pet food can lids, and the active lid holds a tiny glossy treat magnet, making it unmistakably clear where you are. Jarband is designed for hamster owners, reptile enthusiasts, rabbit caretakers, bird parents, and anyone managing a multi-pet household who needs a lightweight, focused chore log. Because the app works entirely offline and stores everything locally, it is perfect for quick logging during busy mornings or when you are away from a reliable connection. Families sharing pet duties on a single device can pass the shelf from one person to the next, knowing that the latest water refill or bedding change is recorded and visible to everyone. With Jarband, enclosure cleaning becomes a satisfying, visual habit rather than a forgettable task, helping you build a consistent care rhythm that keeps your small companions healthy and their habitats fresh.
