Comments on JellyFish Designer for Android

★★★★★ Ryan Boogaard · Nov 14, 2020

This new app adds the ability to customize your own light patterns, create zones, and have multiple schedules. I've been wanting something like this since I got my lights. Great update to the old program.

★★★★☆ Mike Pascoe · May 30, 2023

***UPDATE*** new app version works much better. I occasionally get a connection lost issue, but it resolves itself in a few seconds as opposed to having to unplug and reset the entire system. Looking forward to trying the new cloud app. Still missing some customization features that I have been waiting a few years for (shimmering lights, RGB control for individual lights in a zone independent of others, change twinkle/lightening colors, etc.). Hopefully more are in the works in the future.

★★☆☆☆ Bethany Redder · Mar 18, 2022

This app is awful. There are several things they could do to make this more functional, the simplest thing being to put the list in alphabetical order. But my schedules stopped working. Separately, setting the date on the calendar schedule resets itself back to a wrong date. Missing column headers to actually explain what the checkbox and slider are for. How-to videos don't even work. No instruction on how to use the HMI on the controller itself, so how am I supposed to reset Wi-Fi. Frustrating.

★☆☆☆☆ David Coolbaugh · Dec 30, 2023

Jellyfish lighting apps do not work well at all. Makes the whole lighting system a waste of money. Choose a different company.

★☆☆☆☆ Luone Ingram · Nov 28, 2021

These lights cost a fortune. They're fun, when they work. I've had multiple service calls since installation trying to fix a variety of issues. One gets fixed, and another occurs. For days now I've been unable to change over to Christmas lights (from fall) as I cannot connect to the Jellyfish controller. Beyond frustrated.
