Works well on my Casio Range man GW-9400 in my place... for those with the
same model, this is my advice, so you don't mess up your world time
settings: 1. Set up your calibrating phone's time zone to TOKYO (GMT+8) 2.
On the Casio Range man - use the 'Test Mode - Signal Receiving Function'.
Hold ADJUST button in the Time Keeping mode, and as the HOLD message
appears simultaneously press the LIGHT and FORWARD buttons. 3. Select J 40
Station by cycling through options using FORWARD button. 4. Start JJY
Emulator. Get it ready to sync your watch... 5. Start calibration on the
Casio Range man by pressing the REVERSE button. 6. With patience, the watch
will sync flawlessly just by pumping up the speakers of your phone and
making sure the watch is close to the phone. Approximately 7 minutes (it
takes longer than usual as the watch will make diagnosis of receiving
hardware first before attempting to receive radio signals). JOK message
will appear if the calibration goes well, JNG if not. 7. Exit Test Mode by
hitting either the SENSOR, LIGHT, or MODE buttons. Or leave the watch for
one or two hours, and it will go back to Timekeeping mode on its own. Hope
the developers include other atomic clock signals like BPC etc. to avoid
such workarounds. Kudos to the developer!

Doesn't work on my Casio watch inside Japan.

, radio waves and sound waves are fundamentally different. Radio waves are electromagnetic waves, which can travel through a vacuum, while sound waves are mechanical waves that require a medium like air to travel. Radio waves are too quiet for humans to hear, requiring special devices like radios to convert them into audible sound, whereas we can directly hear sound waves

Keeps getting Japan time not local, signal is great and watch gets it really clear but not local time
