Jobconnectz

Jobconnectz connects you with identity-verified artisans and service providers near you in Ghana. It also helps skilled providers find customers close by.

Get a job done
Plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, masonry, painting, cleaning, hairdressing, appliance repairs and more.

• Choose a service and describe the job. Add photos or a short video so the provider can see what needs doing.
• Put the address on the map, or use one you have saved.
• Ask for help the same day, pick a date and time, or send an emergency request. Emergency requests cost more.
• Many services show a starting price before you book.
• See which providers near you are available, with their rating, jobs completed and distance, and choose the one you want. If nobody is available yet, send the request anyway: it goes to providers in range, and the first one to accept takes the job.
• Chat with your provider in the app.
• Follow each step in the app: accepted, on the way, arrived, in progress, finished.
• Check the work, then pay your provider in cash. Nothing is paid upfront.
• Rate your provider when the job is done.

Know who is coming
Every provider submits their Ghana Card and a selfie, and must pass an identity check before they can be offered jobs. Customers add their Ghana Card before their first booking, so providers know who they are working for too.

Safety
• Report a message, or report or block a person, from any job.
• People you block are never matched with you again.
• Chat messages, reviews and job descriptions are automatically filtered for abusive language.
• Contact our support team from the Help center in the app.
• Delete your account at any time from your profile.

For providers
Put your trade to work for customers near you.
• Sign up, choose the services you offer and get verified.
• Go online when you are ready for work, and go offline when you are not.
• While you are online with the app open, new requests near you appear on your Today screen. Accept the ones that suit you.
• Keep your customer informed with one tap at each step: on my way, arrived, started, finished.
• Ratings from your customers build your reputation, and customers see your rating when they choose a provider.

Before you start
• Jobconnectz works in Ghana only. To sign up you need a Ghanaian (+233) mobile number and an email address, and you must be 18 or older.
• Providers are joining area by area, so how many you see depends on where you are.
